Insider Exposure Fall League

I was able to attend the 2nd Annual The Insider Exposure Fall League on September 3rd in Memphis, TN. The league features some really talented girls from Arkansas, Tennessee, and Mississippi. I was able to evaluate the middle school and high school divisions of the league. This article will mention some players that played well or showed some good potential.

Aubrey Butler | Guard | Arkansas | 2024

Aubrey was very impressive with her play in the league. Her anticipation on defense led to steals and play making opportunities in the open court. A great decision maker in transition, Aubrey looked to make the right play to a teammate or finished herself. In the half-court, Aubrey drove the ball strong to the basket often getting by her defender and finishing at the rim.

Kalina Lambert | Point Guard | Tennessee | 2027

Kalina was one of the most impressive players I saw. One of the youngest players to play in the high school division, Kalina held her own. She was fearless, aggressive and played with a lot of confidence. She could attack off the bounce and get to the rim. She had a nice mid-range jumper and could shoot the three ball in transition. Kalina moved well off the ball and it made her effective off the catch. She could attack closeouts with the catch and shoot or put the ball on the floor and get to the rim.

Zoey Rixter | Wing | Tennessee | 2025

Zoey is a nice size player with good length. She has the versatility to defend multiple positions. Her athleticism allows her to guard anyone from the point guard to some bigs. Zoey provided good help defense that lead to blocks or altered shots. She moved well on offense and could handle it in the open court. In the half-court, she had good body control and could attack the basket off the dribble in straight lines.

Aaliyah Converse | Guard | Tennessee | 2024

Every coach loves a player that is going to be aggressive on defense and play with some heart. Defense takes effort, energy, and a never back down attitude. Aaliyah did a good of showing her defensive ability with her aggressiveness when guarding the ball. Offensively she could also break down the defense off the dribble and get to the rim for the finish. She showed good footwork on her finishing when scoring around the rim in transition or in the half-court.

Middle School Division

The following evaluations are Arkansas players that played in the middle school division. There were 2 games going at the same time but I mainly watched one game. These names below are from the one game I evaluated.

Aniya Tony | Forward | Arkansas | 2027

Aniya did a good job of playing within herself. She didn’t try to do too much or try to be someone she’s not. She played hard, gave great effort on defense, rebounded the ball and ran the floor well.

De’Asia Neal | Post | Arkansas | 2029

De’Asia has good size and understands how to use her size to get position on the low block. She’s a fundamentally sound player on offense and defense. She has good potential and will continue to develop as she goes through middle school.

Kinsley Patterson | Guard | Arkansas | 2027

Kinsley is a tough, hard-nosed guard that plays hard and with intensity. An aggressive on-ball defender that has quick feet and doesn’t mind playing with some contact. She handles the ball and rebounds well for her position. She uses her size and aggressiveness to attack the basket.

Jayden Cole | Forward | Arkansas | 2028

Jayden played mainly around the basket, but as she continues to develop she could easily become more of a perimeter player. She could attack off the catch and get to the basket in a straight line, she rebounded, and brought good energy.

Kaila Thomas | Wing | Arkansas | 2029

Kaila showed a good understanding of some basketball concepts while on the floor. When she was involved in on-ball screens she knew how to hedge and then recover. She defended the post well, ran the floor, and crashed the boards.

Bryonna Thompson | Gaurd | Arkansas | 2028

Bryonna is a good sized guard that plays hard on both ends of the floor. She brings a level of intensity that is hard to match. She gave good effort on defense, showed she could create off the dribble, an push it in transition.

A‘Sharia Simmons | Wing | Arkansas | 2029

A’Sharia was the most versatile player on the floor. She could play both inside and out, guard multiple positions, shoot the three, and attack the rim off the bounce. Her size and athleticism allows her to get to spots on the floor to make plays for herself or her teammates.

Nicole Jones | Guard | Arkansas | 2029

Being one of the smallest players on the floor didn’t stop Nicole from showing her potential. She showed she could shoot the mid-range pull-up, attack off the dribble, shoot the three-ball, and withstand contact.

Summer Morgan | Guard | Arkansas | 2027

Summer was one of the most athletic players I saw in the middle school and high school division. Her athleticism was on full display in the open court and on defense. She often used her speed and quickness to get to the rim for easy buckets.
